Finally the police were able to enter Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore. They arrested more than 20 PTI workers from the house. At that time, Imran Khan was in the capital Islamabad to hear the Tosakhana case. Jio TV gave this news.
According to the news, a fierce conflict between the police and PTI supporters was seen around the residence of Imran Khan in the Zaman Park area of Lahore. The Pakistani administration failed to arrest Imran Khan due to the obstruction of the supporters. However, on Saturday morning, a large-scale operation was conducted in the Zaman Park area. As part of the operation, PTI workers in the area were removed and at one point the police entered Imran’s house.
“Section 144 has been issued, you are requested to leave the area,” police said in an announcement before entering Imran Khan’s house. Television footage showed police demolishing the main gate of Imran Khan’s house with bulldozers and arresting several PTI workers. Imran’s operatives targeted them with bullets and petrol bombs, the police alleged. Even after the operation, a large amount of police has been deployed in the area.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan condemned the police operation.
He said, my wife Bushra Begum is completely alone at home. Under what law are they doing this!
