Philadelphia armed carjacking of mother, teen daughter caught on video

An early morning armed carjacking in Philadelphia involving a mom and her teenage daughter was caught on video, authorities stated. 

The pair have been leaving their dwelling round 6:20 a.m. on Sept. 19 after they have been ambushed by a carjacker with a gun, the Philadelphia Police Department stated in a video launched Monday asking for assist in figuring out the suspect.

“It seems he was laying in wait,” police Capt. John Ryan informed FOX Philadelphia. “He rode a bicycle up there, left the bicycle behind, we have now that.”

The suspect took the girl’s purse as they have been each stepping into the car. They are heard on safety video screaming in worry.

The lady’s Hyundai Santa Fe was taken from a driveway and nobody was damage, police stated. 

“Our suggestion is all the time not to withstand, and never get yourselves damage in these conditions,” Ryan stated. “It’s not value you being injured or damage worse than that.”

No arrests have been made within the case, police stated.
