PHOENIX (AP) — Michael Irvin has been pulled from the rest of NFL Network’s Super Bowl week coverage after a criticism about Irvin’s habits in a lodge Sunday evening.
The Hall of Fame huge receiver went on a Dallas radio station Wednesday and mentioned he was requested by community officers to maneuver to a different lodge on Monday after what he described as a short encounter with a lady.
“Michael Irvin is not going to be a part of NFL Network’s Super Bowl LVII week coverage,” NFL Network spokesman Alex Riethmiller mentioned
In interviews with Dallas’ 105.3 The Fan and the Dallas Morning News, Irvin mentioned the dialog with the lady lasted between 45 seconds and one minute. Irvin additionally mentioned he initially didn’t keep in mind the assembly as a result of “I had a couple of drinks, to let you know the reality.”
Irvin mentioned he didn’t know the lady and that there was “no sexual wrongdoing.”
