Gunman on the loose at University of Virginia following shooting

Students and workers at the University of Virginia had been sheltering in place Sunday night time as a gunman remained on the loose following a shooting at the faculty’s Charlottesville campus.

University police stated the suspect, recognized as Christopher Darnell Jones, needs to be thought-about “armed and harmful” and suggested group members to remain inside.

Shots rang out in the space of Culbreth Road on college grounds, UVA police introduced round 10:30 p.m.
