The feds have all however concluded actor Alec Baldwin will need to have fired the weapon on the set of the film “Rust” that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, in response to a bombshell report.
According to an FBI forensic report obtained by ABC News, the gun delivering the fatal bullet in the Oct. 21 shooting on the New Mexico set “couldn’t be made to fireside with out a pull of the trigger.”
Baldwin, the star and producer of the Western movie, claimed he believed he was dealing with a “chilly gun” with out reside ammunition when it went off and a reside bullet hit Hutchins, killing her. The movie’s director, Joel Souza, was wounded in the incident.
In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos final December, Baldwin insisted he didn’t fireplace the weapon.
“The trigger wasn’t pulled,” he stated. “I didn’t pull the trigger.”

Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez Reed, who was in cost of all weapons on the “Rust” set, couldn’t be reached for remark.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, which is heading the murder investigation, obtained the report and different FBI paperwork associated to the shooting earlier this month, the sheriff’s workplace instructed ABC News.
